Taylor is a full time teacher of literature and history at Regis Jesuit High School and a teacher of philosophy, religious studies and humanities at Regis University.
Title of Session: Boys will be boys–even in the classroom.
This session will focus on some suggestions on attitudes and actions to be aware of when teaching a classroom full of boys–positives to build on and pitfalls to be aware of.
Questions that will be address:
What does a boy mean when he responds “nothing” to a question you have asked?
How does the “emotional temperature” of a classroom affect the learning process?
